About driving… in Beijing..

Oh the driving in Beijing just kills me every day, and yet i do really love to drive around in my tiny little car. It took me all my self control not punch this extreme stupid and rude driver in Buick on my way to work…
Since I didn’t mention that now I live in Beijing this entry might be a surprise. But the whole story will come later a bit.
So I live in Beijing for just a bit more then 10 years and I have been driving here for something like 5 years. You think you can get used to everything on the road, but it just aint true. The way they drive here is just impossible to ignore.
First of all they never show the turn signal so it is impossible to know what the driver in front of you is going to do. Then this “driver” is simply changing his mind of where he wants to go or even if he wants to go at all… oh and the most favorite thing is to go from very left line to very right line, then frisky change 5 lines on a highway just to take an exit that he didn’t even miss, it’s just that it was quicker to go on a left line. But women are worse than anywhere, especially if these girls just got a SLK or 911 from daddy.  They don’t even know what they are driving.
Yet another problem in Beijing is taxi drivers. Sometimes it seems that they just don’t care about anything. So, most of the accidents are because of them. Thou I wouldn’t call it an accident more of a scratch but since they need to call police to document it so that insurance company will take of the so called  damage.
Oh and my very favorite – the Bus drivers! The deal with them is tricky. All of them have schedules and they need to be always on time, because if they don’t there are fines to pay. So of course they are trying to over go each other even thou they do have their own line (which we can’t use) which is extremely annoying for others around.
Of course not all of them are like this..  Like anywhere in the world and in any nation there are many good people and drivers. Let’s just hope that one day they will learn how to respect each other on the roadJ))

Continue...

Ok, since it's my Lazy Sunday and I am watching movies, why not to continue to tell the story....
  Soooo...
Ok so once we got back to Russia we didn't stay there for long... well we did actually stayed for 7 years, but every summer I was visiting my dad in ether France or Switzerland. And to tell you the truth I DID NOT like Paris at ALL! Well I would git it a chance once again, but back then it was the worst place i have ever been too. People were just too self concerned and not friendly at all. But I did love the cafes and pastry a lot. I was in Paris for at list 6 to 7 times and a huge idiot I was i have never been to the Louver... As i sad i didn't like Paris back then and i was always choosing something else like Asterix park or DisneyLand.. It didn't matter back then.. Well I was a kid and didn't really know what was best for me. But once avoiding the trip to museums (that was a huge mistake, because now I know how amazing it is to see the history and art right before you), me my friend and our history teacher (oh the best teacher in the world) we went to a cafe somewhere around the "Head Hand" sculpture... So on the way back to meet our group we past this guy who drawing with color spray on photo paper.. it was so beautiful and skillful that i even bought one of his drawings.. Unfortunately that was still an age of photo films and the photos of that day are need to  be scanned, which takes a lot of time to do.
I would really love to go back to Paris one day and to see how I feel about it now.
I wish I had more pictures from our first time to France, that was the time we actually traveled it around. I remember Marselle and a lot of remarkable castles and forces. Wish I could remember any names. This is the other reason why I finally decided to make this blog.

Hello there!

In the time when there are way to many blogs I didn't know if I even should consider make my own. And yet I am here making my first steps to share what have:) I am huge freak about making photos, so I realized I shouldn't just keep them for myself and should share. For long time I was uploading hundreds of pictures of my travels, live, food to Facebook. Well I got bored! You cant really say a lot about what they are actually about.
So Let me tell me something about myself. Since I was 2 years old I was traveling with my parents due to my dad's work.
So the first place that i ever been to was Poland. At that time they didn't really like Russians (oh I should mention that I am Russian, Moscow), so we always had problems when I was teaching my friends in Kindergarden some russian words. Not that it was my own idea, but parents of those kids were not very happy.  I also remember that our Consulate was bombed few time with rotten vegetables and color gas. At that time I was so very sure that it was happening on my account. I should also mention that my parents used to work for Embassy. So we were never really were the ones to choose the place to go.
So back then I spoke great Polish, even my Russian was with accent)) And I could dance Krakoviak.  We left when I was almost 6 and since no one spoke Polish around me anymore, I forgot it.. Thou I can understand something still.
Oh I remember the funny fashion back then... These weird long silhouettes, high waist and big shoulders.. and and the permed hair and color strings.. still not a fan, but at list the new fashion brings the best out of that era.
Talking about fashion. I actually finished university with bachelor degree in Fashion design. So I do plan on starting something on my own one day.
